I was recently in the hospital. Not for me, but staying with my mother after surgery. You know, the hospital is not the place to stay if you want to get any sleep at all. They are constantly waking you up with mundane things such as vital signs and pain pills! Don't these people know how important sleep is?
My mother had a doctor that was really young. He was also very cute! He went above and beyond what a normal surgeon would do for his/her patient. He did some things that are normally left to the nurses. I should know, I are one.
My mother has a glioblastoma. She has had this since December 10, 2004. The life expectancy of such disease is only a year, specifically after surgery. Did I mention my mother is strong? Feisty? Has a strong will to live? She does!!! I know all the history and the statistics and I only have this to say.......................hide and watch!
So my mother thinks I am bold, ballsy even. I left a note for the intern to call me. We shall see if he acts on it. Time will tell. I am off. Wish me luck!
